Noelia is bp’s vice president, solar and onshore wind. She joined bp in August 2022 to lead bp’s wholly owned solar and onshore wind platforms in the US and onshore renewables in support of bp’s global green hydrogen and the decarbonisation of its oil & gas assets.
Before joining bp, Noelia worked for EDP Renewables for over two decades, working in leadership roles across the company. Including Director of Construction for Europe where she oversaw the construction of 5.8GW of onshore wind and solar projects in 11 countries.
Noelia joined the Lightsource bp Board in 2022, bringing 22 years of international experience in renewables.
Noelia holds an MSc in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Madrid. Her experience in low carbon technologies spans solar and onshore and offshore wind, and bioenergy.
Noelia enjoys sport and traveling, and loves being surrounded by nature and exploring different cultures.
